Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

  • Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with menus.
  • Manage the seating chart to ensure efficient table turnover and guest flow.
  • Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling reservations and inquiries.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
  • Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism to enhance guest relations.

Skills

  • Previous Host/Host or food service experience is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Open table or Resi is a plus.
  • Experience in hotel or guest services can be beneficial.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of serving etiquette and restaurant operations is advantageous.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
