Host/Hostess

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. The Host/Hostess will manage reservations, greet guests, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with inquiries and reservations.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service.
• Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Assist guests with any special requests or needs to enhance their dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area.
• Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and orders.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to handle guest relations with a positive attitude.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for helping others and providing excellent customer service is required.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
