Host/Hostess

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding guest services. This role involves welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring that all patrons receive top-notch service throughout their visit.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize guest flow.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, including Aloha POS, ensuring all special requests are communicated to the kitchen staff.
• Provide detailed menu information and recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth service operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Assist in training new staff on restaurant policies, guest relations, and service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
