We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring that all patrons receive top-notch service throughout their visit.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize guest flow.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, including Aloha POS, ensuring all special requests are communicated to the kitchen staff.
- Provide detailed menu information and recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth service operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist in training new staff on restaurant policies, guest relations, and service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
