Server Job Description

Duties:

- Take food and drink orders from customers
- Serve food and beverages to customers
- Provide excellent guest service and address any customer concerns or inquiries
- Prepare food items, such as salads or desserts, as needed
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash register
- Bus tables and maintain cleanliness of dining area
- Sanitize work areas and utensils regularly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a server or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for providing exceptional guest service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices in a restaurant setting
