We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will be responsible for greeting guests, managing wait lists, crowds, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Manage wait lists, crowds, and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively to enhance their experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
