Host/Hostess

The Mimosa House is looking for friendly, organized, and energetic Hosts/Hostesses to join our team! As the first and last impression for our guests, our hosts play an important role in creating a welcoming and smooth dining experience.

We are a fast paced, family owned brunch restaurant that values teamwork, hospitality, and great service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm and positive attitude
• Manage waitlists and reservations efficiently
• Seat guests while maintaining proper restaurant flow
• Answer phones and assist with guest questions
• Communicate effectively with servers and management
• Help maintain a clean and organized host stand and lobby area
• Assist with opening and closing side work

Requirements

• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Friendly, professional, and team oriented attitude
• Ability to stay calm and organized in a high volume environment
• Weekend and holiday availability is required
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred, but not required
