Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or seating areas
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests they may have
- Manage waitlist and seating arrangements during peak hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Run take-out orders
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles preferred
- Familiarity with restaurant operations is a plus
- Knowledge of POS system or similar point-of-sale software is beneficial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and a passion for hospitality and food service
