Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations at the front of house, managing guest flow, and providing exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will set the tone for our guests’ visit, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere that keeps them coming back.

Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly and lively attitude, making them feel valued and appreciated
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing accurate information and assistance
• Assist guests with inquiries about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service flow

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant environment preferred
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on clear, friendly phone etiquette
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills with a genuine hospitality mindset
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Experience in hotel or guest services is a plus but not required
• Demonstrated ability to build positive guest relations and provide outstanding guest experiences

Pay: $16.90 - $23.00 per hour
