Host/Hostess

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize dining flow.
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, addressing guest inquiries and taking reservations.
• Provide assistance to guests as needed, ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.

Skills

• Proficient in using POS systems, including TOAST POS, for managing orders and payments.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within the restaurant or hotel industry.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for helping others and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
