Host/Hostess

We are currently hiring for our host team!

Looking for energetic, engaging personalities. This is a people-forward job and are looking for candidates who enjoy being outgoing, making friends and supporting those around them. We are a neighborhood restaurant that caters to locals and we are looking for personalities that naturally fall into that rhythm.

We have evening shifts available and we can accommodate full time or part time work schedules making the job flexible to work around school needs.

Friday and Saturday availability is a must. Those are our busiest days and availability will be required for any candidates we consider.

Restaurant experience is not necessary to apply, as long as you are willing to put in the effort to learn.

Shifts start at 4:00pm and run anywhere from 8:30 to 11:30 depending on business.

General job duties:

• Managing reservations, seating and wait list.
• Being familiar with various party procedures, reservation systems and to go orders
• Welcoming guests in, taking guest to table, answering phones, booking reservations, etc.
• Coordinating seatings with management, captains, backwaiters and the general needs of the restaurant.

General Job Structure

• We are only open for dinner service (5 pm) and shifts tend to start at either 12:30 PM or 4:00pm. Please note, 12:30 is not guaranteed as it is often given to more veteran staff.
• For Full Time - a work week consists of 5 days on and 2 days off. Roughly 30-35 hours a week is typical, but we can be flexible if you need more or less.
• For Part Time - options are available as well ranging from 2-3 shifts per week, (12-18 hours per week)
• The dress code is business casual.

What we can offer you:

This is a position that will start at $15.00/hour with the potential to increase as your skillset progresses.

Medical insurance is available after 30 days of FULL TIME employment. Employer will contribute $250/month toward your medical plan of choice. The rest of the premiums will come from your paycheck weekly. If you enroll in a health plan, Le Farfalle will cover the cost of dental and vision as well.
