Join our hospitality team as a Host/Hostess and become the welcoming face of our private country club dining experience. In this guest-focused role, you will create a warm and professional atmosphere while coordinating reservations, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring every member and guest receives exceptional service from the moment they arrive.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys building relationships with members, and takes pride in delivering elevated customer service. Our Host/Hostess team plays an essential role in maintaining smooth dining operations while creating memorable experiences for our members and their guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests promptly with a friendly, polished, and professional demeanor
• Manage reservations and dining flow using OpenTable and POS systems such as Jonas
• Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently while communicating with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations
• Monitor dining room capacity, wait times, and table turnover to maximize guest satisfaction
• Answer phone calls professionally while assisting with reservations, dining inquiries, and member requests
• Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming host stand and reception area
• Assist with special events, holiday dining experiences, and club functions as needed
• Build positive relationships with club members by recognizing preferences and delivering personalized service
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns professionally and escalating issues to management when appropriate
• Uphold club standards for hospitality, professionalism, appearance, and service excellence

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience as a Host/Hostess, receptionist, or customer service professional in a restaurant, hotel, resort, or private club environment preferred
• Experience using OpenTable or similar reservation/seating software strongly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with members and guests
• Professional phone etiquette and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced hospitality setting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and club events
• Private club or upscale dining experience is highly preferred

Work Environment

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
