Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and assist in maintaining an efficient flow of service while providing excellent customer service. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain guest relations will be key to your success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience.
- Communicate wait times to guests and provide updates as necessary.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, including taking reservations and answering questions about the restaurant.
- Utilize Resy OS system for managing reservations and guest information efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience hosting.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is a plus.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others enjoy their dining experience.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
