Host/Hostess – Lockport

Job Description

In this job you will greet and seat guests in a friendly manner and assist in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant.

Duties:

· Open door for guests arriving and departing;

· Accommodate any special needs of guests, i.e., boosters, highchairs, and other needs;

· Manage the Wait List when the restaurant is full;

· Provide guest assistance to servers as needed;

· Ensure that the host stand, front door, and retail area are clean and sanitized throughout shift;

· Maintain a clean and organized work area;

· Assist with retail sales to ensure neatness and organization;

· Complete other duties as requested or assigned by management.

Qualifications:

· Reading, writing, and strong verbal skills required;

· Ability to transport and carry objects up to 15 pounds;

· Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours per shift;

· Must be able to climb stairs and effectively move throughout the facility.

· No specific experience or higher education is required. Training will be provided for this position.
