Host/Hostess - SR Prime

The SR Prime Host is responsible for prompt, friendly greeting, proper seating of all guests of the restaurant and ensuring the smooth operation of the front of the restaurant.

• Provides information on all aspects of available services and facilities for guests.
• Greets guests, arranges seating, monitors room atmosphere.
• Quotes accurate waiting times and handles guest waiting lists and reservations in accordance with established procedures.
• Answers phones according to established procedures.
• Calls guests back after reviewing the phone messages daily.
• Reconfirms reservations a day before peak nights.
• Assists guests with reservation via phone and in person.
• Assists guests with special requests.
• Communicates with co-workers and supervisors to ensure quality service.
• Maintains a seating log for the restaurant including the bar and the lounge, and directs the flow of work for both wait and bus staff.
• Updates the floor chart regularly throughout the shift.
• Cleans menus as required throughout the shift.
• Cleans and organizes the host stand daily.
• Lightly dusts and maintains the work area.
• Assists wait staff as necessary with to-go orders, etc.
• Provides prompt, friendly greetings and proper seating for all guests of the restaurant.
• Demonstrates commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct.
• Ensures the smooth operation of the front of the restaurant.
• Complies with all departments and company rules and regulations.
• Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.
• Always present oneself in a neat and clean appearance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school Diploma or education equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with mobile devices and touch screen technology.
• Previous experience using Smart Phones and/or Tablets applications strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate in other languages for work is a plus.
