Role Overview

We are seeking a Growth Manager who lives and breathes website hosting, development, and performance optimization. This role is ideal for someone with a technical foundation in how websites are built, deployed, and scaled—and who is equally motivated to grow an online audience through content, social media, and community engagement. While writing and SEO skills are valuable, deep knowledge of hosting platforms, website architecture, and site performance is far more important for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Growth Strategy & Market Leadership
• Leverage your expertise in web hosting and development to identify growth opportunities.
• Establish HostingAdvice.com as a go-to resource for technical and practical hosting advice.
• Shape initiatives that expand readership, build trust, and strengthen industry presence.

Content Leadership
Create, edit, or oversee articles about:

• Hosting platforms, providers, and reviews
• Website performance optimization techniques
• Website builders and development best practices
• Tips, tricks, and tutorials for hosting and scaling websites
• Ensure all content reflects strong technical accuracy, with clarity for both beginners and advanced users.

Community & Social Media Engagement

• Build and maintain HostingAdvice.com’s presence on social platforms by sharing insights on hosting, dev tools, and optimization.
• Foster an active community of developers, small business owners, and web professionals.
• Engage in discussions that position HostingAdvice as a leader in the hosting/development space.

Performance Tracking & Optimization

• Monitor and report on growth KPIs (traffic, engagement, conversions).
• Optimize website performance and user experience to support growth initiatives.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to refine strategies and maintain competitive advantage.

Qualifications

Must-Have Technical Background:

• Hands-on knowledge of website hosting platforms (shared, VPS, dedicated, and cloud hosting).
• Understanding of website development workflows, CMS platforms, and site builders.
• Familiarity with site performance concepts (caching, CDNs, uptime, scalability, etc.).

Additional Skills:

• Strong communication skills to explain technical topics in clear, engaging ways.
• Ability to write, edit, or oversee technical content (with support from editors/writers).
• Experience with social media engagement around technology or hosting topics.
• Analytical mindset for monitoring growth and making data-informed decisions.
• Comfortable with video editing tools and being on camera explaining technical concepts.
• Experience with WordPress CMS or similar.

Preferred Experience

• Professional or personal experience working at a hosting provider, dev agency, or SaaS platform.
• Track record of growing an online community or audience in the tech/hosting space.
• Familiarity with SEO and content strategy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
