Host/RUNNER

We're looking for an individual that really enjoys interacting with people in the restaurant/customer service environment to fill a host and runner position. It's important that you are able to make our guests feel welcome with a smile and genuine concern to deal with any issues that a customer presents to you. We would also like an individual that has a strong attention to detail in all aspects of their interactions with guests and the responsibilites assigned to them. Most importantly we are looking for an individual with the right attitude. We want someone who is open to consistently learning and growing and doesn't shy away from challenges. Our little restaurant is fun, welcoming and very supportive but it can be very challenging at times and it requires people who thoroughly enjoy the challenges restaurants present.

HOST Responsibilities include:

Checking phone messages and returning calls. Confirming reservations and communicating notes on reservations. Setting tables. Assigning tables and seating guests. Assisting servers with guests and tables

RUNNER Responsibilities include:

Running food to tables. Stocking plates. Assisting kitchen with tasks related to plating of food. *Need to have above average physical work capacity.
