Host/Server

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and ensuring exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in food service and guest relations, along with strong communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality expertise in a dynamic environment, emphasizing guest satisfaction and efficient service.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Assist guests with special requests, dietary restrictions, or accommodations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining areas
• Manage guest flow during busy hours to ensure timely seating and service
• Handle guest inquiries politely via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations
• Uphold guest relations by providing attentive, friendly, and professional service throughout the dining experience

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or Server in a restaurant setting preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in hospitality, hotel services, or guest relations is advantageous
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and friendly demeanor
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, food service procedures, and hospitality standards
• Ability to handle guest interactions with courtesy and professionalism at all times

Pay: From $7.25 per hour
