Host/Server

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Server/Host to join our team. We are happy to train people with little experience if needed. The Server/Host will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take their orders
• Have knowledge of the menu and be able to recommend/explain menu items
• Serve food and beverages
• Checking on customers and addressing any concerns they have.
• Process cash/card payments
• Help clean tables
• Opening and closing duties

Requirements

• Previous experience in serving/hosting or a similar role
• Good communication skills and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast and timely manner
• Ability to handle cash and credit transaction
• Knowledge of food and beverage service and preparation

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds

Salary

• Host salary starts at $10 an hour and can reach $15 an hour
• Server salary averages out to ~$20-25 an hour, this is dependent on servers skill and attitude so hourly can be lower or higher
