Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in a fast-paced sushi restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Host/Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that each dining experience is memorable.

Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing strong sales skills to enhance guest experience.
- Serve food and beverages with attention to detail, ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Uphold food handling safety standards to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Provide support during peak hours, demonstrating flexibility in roles as needed within the restaurant environment.

Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, especially in fine dining or environments.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills is essential for this role.
- A strong understanding of food handling practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are key attributes for success in this position.

Pay: $10.99 - $18.97 per hour
