Duties

• Greet guests warmly with a friendly smile and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times and maximize guest satisfaction
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Assist guests with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients or specials, and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, dining areas, and service stations
• Handle guest inquiries or complaints professionally, demonstrating excellent guest relations and phone etiquette

Skills

• Proven experience as a Host/Hostess or Server in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and build rapport
• Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with guests and team members
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred
• Previous experience in food service or hotel guest services is advantageous
• Knowledge of hospitality standards including guest relations, serving procedures, and phone etiquette
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure
