Host/Server

Jo:a Japanese Restaurant is searching for new Hosts/Hostesses that would be trained to eventually become a member of our serving staff. Experience is not required but preferred. Please note that we require servers to be over the age of 21, as they would need MAST 12 permits to serve alcohol and cocktails.

Starting pay is minimum wage plus tip. Hosts/Hostesses receive tips from to-go orders, as well as a tip-out from the servers. Servers receive tips from the tables they serve but must tip out the back of house as well as the hosts and bussers.

Must be authorized to work in the United States and have an active Washington State Food Handlers Permit. Servers must have a Washington State MAST Alcohol Serving Permit(Class 13 for 18~21, Class 12 for 21+). Must be available to work on weekends.

Interviews for the position will be conducted during the break hours of the restaurant, from 1:30pm to 4:30pm Tuesday through Saturday.
