Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them to their seats efficiently
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize flow and reduce wait times
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system TOAST ensuring clarity and attention to detail
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining excellent guest relations and communication skills
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve any concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of host stand, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with health and safety standards
• Support team members during busy periods by assisting with serving or bussing tables as needed
• Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating courteous phone etiquette and engaging positively with all guests

Skills

• Proven experience as a Host/Hostess or Server in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest relations professionally
• Excellent communication skills to clearly convey orders, specials, and respond to guest needs
• Familiarity with restaurant POS system TOAST
• Knowledge of food service procedures, including serving techniques and hospitality best practices
• Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across hospitality settings
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure
• Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety protocols
