Host/Server Assistant

Part Time: 10-12 hrs Thursday & Sunday availability

Pay: Commensurate with Experience

Job Requirements

• 2+ years Hosting/SA experience
• The ability to stand for 7+ hours, bend, twist, lift 25+ repeatedly, comfortable with loud noises, heat, cold, steam, sharp objects.
• Knowledge of POS, reservation, and online ordering systems. (Toast & Resy a plus but not a requirement)
• Follow all restaurant COVID-19 Guidelines when seating/serving/bussing tables
• Reliable transportation to work and must be able to work Tuesday-Sunday

A qualified candidate will:

• Communicate effectively and positively when dealing with guests or coworkers
• Posses a team oriented mindset, not just helping when needed or asked, but anticipating guest and coworker needs
• Demonstrate effective phone skills including but not limited to: taking reservations, resolving problems, taking to-go orders, juggling multiple phone calls
• Be a highly organized self-starter who posses both a sense of urgency and attention to detail when following systems
• Be able to think on one’s feet to problem solve the various situations that arise in a restaurant and/or deescalate guest issues

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50 per hour
