Job Overview

Machi Sushi is a modern sushi restaurant in Georgetown focused on fresh food, clean technique, and friendly, professional service. We are building a strong team that works well together, stays organized during busy service, and takes pride in taking care of our guests.

We are currently hiring Servers who are reliable, positive, and ready to learn. Experience is helpful, but we are happy to train the right people with a good attitude and strong work ethic.

Server Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
• Take food and drink orders accurately
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
• Explain menu items and answer guest questions
• Work closely with kitchen and sushi bar to ensure smooth service
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting tables, and keeping the dining room clean
• Complete opening and closing side work as assigned
• Support teammates during busy shifts

Requirements

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation and good attendance
• Willingness to learn and follow service standards
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs if needed
• Team-oriented and respectful communication

Experience in restaurants is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train the right candidates.
