Job Summary
Join our small but mighty team as a Hot Dog Stand & Hot Dog Cart Assistant, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create an exciting and memorable food experience for customers. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious hot dogs and related menu items, taking and inputting orders into the register and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare hot dogs, toppings, and side items according to established recipes and safety standards
• Operate Clover POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to maximize sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the stand or cart, including food handling, sanitation practices, and proper food storage
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including giving change
• Assist with food prep tasks such as condiment setup and basic kitchen duties in a quick service food environment
• Support overall stand or cart operations by cleaning surfaces, restocking supplies, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and taking orders a plus
• Culinary experience or background working in quick service restaurants enhances your ability to succeed in this role
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Customer service experience demonstrating the ability to engage positively with diverse patrons
• Basic math skills for cash handling
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques within the food industry

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
