HOT ROD Mechanic

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be proficient in diagnosing and repairing various types of machinery and equipment. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties

• Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
• Perform repairs and maintenance on machinery, vehicles, and equipment
• Utilize an Ohmmeter to test electrical components and ensure proper functionality
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance performed, and parts used
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the shop or field

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role in the mechanical field
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and repair techniques
• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment, including an Ohmmeter
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in mechanics or related fields are a plus
