Hotel Accountant

We are now seeking a highly motivated Hotel Accountant to join our team in Lusail and play a key role in managing and optimizing hotel financial operations.

Position Overview

The Hotel Accountant will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting functions within a hotel environment, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with local regulations. This role is essential in supporting informed decision-making and maintaining financial integrity across all hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily hotel accounting operations, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow tracking
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and supplier settlements
• Reconcile bank statements, cash reports, and daily hotel revenue summaries
• Monitor income streams including rooms, F&B, and other hotel services
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Ensure compliance with Qatar accounting standards and financial regulations
• Assist in internal and external audits with proper documentation
• Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure financial accuracy and control

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong understanding of hotel revenue systems and operational accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (advanced Excel skills required)
• Knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
• Good communication and coordination skills
