Hotel Breakfast Attendant

We are seeking a friendly, dependable Breakfast Attendant to support our full-time breakfast team member and help deliver a positive, welcoming breakfast experience for our hotel guests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys early mornings, takes pride in cleanliness and presentation, and values great guest service.

This is a part-time relief position, perfect for someone looking for consistent early-morning hours a few days per week with occasional additional coverage as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and break down the breakfast area
• Prepare and replenish breakfast items such as waffles, eggs, oatmeal, pastries, and beverages (based on hotel offerings)
• Greet guests warmly and assist with questions or special requests
• Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation throughout service
• Clean and sanitize tables, counters, equipment, and prep areas
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hotel brand standards
• Assist with end-of-service cleanup and proper food storage

Qualifications

• Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)
• Availability for early morning shifts (typically 5:00 AM – 11:00 AM)
• Friendly, professional attitude with strong customer service skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Food Handler’s Certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
