Join our dynamic team as a Hotel Breakfast Attendant on a part-time basis, working early mornings on Mondays and Tuesdays. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they start their day with a warm welcome and delicious, well-prepared breakfast offerings. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to an exceptional guest experience and uphold our high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hospitality.

This job is 6am - 11:30am Monday and Tuesday. With Occasional fill-in on the weekend if needed. You must also be able to greet and engage with guests during your food prep.

Duties

• Prepare and serve breakfast items with efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to food safety standards
• Set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are fresh, appealing, and properly stocked
• Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu options, and provide friendly guest service
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables, bussing dishes, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
• Handle food handling responsibilities such as portioning, plating, and presentation of breakfast items
• Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for any guest transactions or meal purchases
• Support catering or banquet setups if required, ensuring timely and professional service delivery

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience or food preparation skills are highly desirable
• Experience with food handling, meal preparation, or catering is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and phone etiquette
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred
• Ability to work early mornings on Mondays and Tuesdays with punctuality and reliability
• Knowledge of food safety practices and dietary considerations in hospitality settings
• Experience in hotel or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
