Hotel Facilities Attendant

The Facilities Associate is responsible for ensuring the hotel’s infrastructure, systems, and facilities are well-maintained and functioning efficiently. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, and assisting in the overall upkeep of the property. The Facilities Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and inviting environment for guests and staff.

A Facilities Associate needs to be capable of performing the essential job functions with reasonable accommodation, if necessary. Pinnacle Partnership may specify additional physical requirements based on the specific duties and responsibilities of the role.


  • The ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as equipment, tools, and supplies, frequently throughout the shift. This may involve bending, stooping, reaching, and stretching.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools to perform maintenance tasks, such as plumbing repairs, carpentry work, and equipment troubleshooting. This requires good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

  • The ability to move freely around the hotel property, including walking, standing, and climbing stairs or ladders. Facilities Associates may need to access different areas of the hotel to perform maintenance duties.
  • Maintenance work can be physically demanding and may require prolonged periods of activity, including walking, kneeling, crouching, and repetitive motions. Associates should have the stamina to sustain these activities for extended periods.
  • Awareness of safety hazards and the ability to follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and using safe work practices.
  • Good vision and hearing are essential for identifying maintenance issues, reading technical manuals and blueprints, and communicating with colleagues and supervisors.
  • The ability to adapt to changing work environments and priorities.
  • Overall physical fitness and health are important for performing maintenance tasks safely and effectively. Associates should be able to maintain their physical well-being to meet the demands of the job.
