Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using hotel management software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and proactive solutions
- Operate multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to assist callers promptly
- Maintain accurate reservation records, cancellations, and modifications in the system
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready and well-maintained
- Conduct night audits to reconcile daily transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and reports
- Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation software is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and multi-line phone system operation
- Ability to handle night audit procedures accurately while maintaining attention to detail
