We are seeking a dedicated and professional Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, including verifying guest information and processing payments.
• Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly, providing information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
• Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and guest accounts using hotel management software.
• Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Address any guest complaints or issues with professionalism and courtesy, striving for resolution to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Operate multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls effectively while maintaining phone etiquette.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared for incoming guests.
• Assist with special requests or arrangements for guests, such as transportation or event planning.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is preferred.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Familiarity with night audit procedures is an asset.
• Proficiency in using hotel management software and multi-line phone systems is beneficial.
