Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional check-in experience
  • Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using hotel management systems
  • Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with excellent phone etiquette and multi-line phone system operation
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
  • Process payments accurately during check-in and check-out, maintaining detailed records of transactions
  • Assist with night audit procedures to ensure financial accuracy and prepare reports for management
  • Address guest concerns promptly, demonstrating strong guest relations and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area to ensure a welcoming environment

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities highly desirable to assist diverse clientele
  • Knowledge of hotel management software and multi-line phone systems preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal relations
  • Ability to handle night audit responsibilities or willingness to learn this aspect of hotel operations
  • Previous hotel experience or resort background is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism
