We are seeking a dynamic Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Quality Inn Dalton on Chattanooga Rd. The position will require good customer service skills and a great attitude! Currently, we are looking for 3-5 days a week from 3pm-11pm or 11pm to 7AM. Customer service must be at an all time high. Choice Advantage and Choice Hotels experience is a plus, but not required.
Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include:

- Performing all check-in and check-out tasks
- Managing online and phone reservations
- Informing customers about payment methods and verifying their credit card data
- Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests. Issues room key and gives directions.
- Sorts incoming mail and faxes for guests
- Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions.
- Keeps records of room availability and guests' accounts
- Computes bill, collects payment, and makes change for guests
- Makes, confirms, and cancels reservations
- Posts charges such as laundry, faxes, copies to guest room ledger
- Must be knowledgeable of all in-house services and be able to assist customers when questioned.
- Room directions along with hotel outlets along with hours of operation must be explained to all customers.
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Keeping front desk clean and orderly
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
