Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our prestigious hotel Tru By Hilton Rockwall. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing diverse teams, optimizing revenue, and ensuring the highest standards of hospitality are maintained. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest relations and team communication. Must be experienced with a Hilton Hotel

Duties

  • Lead and supervise all hotel departments including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue and profitability through effective budgeting, pricing strategies, and cost control measures.
  • Oversee guest services to ensure outstanding customer experiences, addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to foster a motivated team environment.
  • Maintain compliance with hotel policies, safety regulations, and industry standards including night audit procedures.
  • Oversee reservations, front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and phone etiquette to ensure efficient guest communication.
  • Coordinate with resort or hotel owners on operational issues and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Monitor guest relations programs to enhance satisfaction levels and encourage repeat business.
  • Implement revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy rates and revenue streams.
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are consistently met across all areas of the property.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles including guest services, human resources, budgeting, and revenue management.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relations.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests and staff.
  • Experience with hotel operations including front desk management, night audit procedures, resort management, and multi-line phone systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high service standards.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of hotel operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,178.11 - $60,000.00 per year
