About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead operations at our 105-room Spark by Hilton property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and performance of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maximizing revenue, profitability, and team engagement.

This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering the high standards associated with the Hilton family of brands.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee all day-to-day hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, operational procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain high guest satisfaction scores and online reputation management.

Financial Performance

  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Drive revenue growth through effective rate management, sales strategy, and cost control.
  • Monitor key performance indicators including RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and develop hotel team members to build a high-performing culture.
  • Foster a positive workplace environment focused on accountability, service excellence, and teamwork.
  • Conduct performance reviews and implement training initiatives.

Sales & Community Engagement

  • Work closely with sales and revenue teams to drive occupancy and market share.
  • Build relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and travel partners.
  • Represent the hotel within the local market and hospitality community.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of hotel leadership experience, preferably as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
  • Experience with select-service or limited-service hotel brands preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel financial management, revenue strategies, and operations.
  • Experience with Hilton brand standards and systems is highly desirable.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and work in a hands-on operational environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience with a Hilton-branded property.
  • Pre-opening or brand conversion experience.
  • Familiarity with hotel management systems and revenue management tools.
