Hotel General Technician

We are seeking a skilled General Technician with 4-5 years of experience in hotel or hotel apartment maintenance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all technical systems within the hotel. Your expertise will be essential in performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting issues related to the building's systems, equipment, and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs to hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Conduct inspections of equipment and systems (e.g., fire alarms, security systems, elevators) to ensure proper functioning.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff promptly and professionally.
• Perform minor repairs such as fixing locks, doors, appliances, lighting, and plumbing.
• Assist in larger maintenance projects, renovations, and equipment installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report major issues to the Facilities or Maintenance Manager.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff and external contractors when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a General Technician or in a similar maintenance role within a hotel or hotel apartment environment.
• Strong technical knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
• Experience using both hand tools and power tools to perform repairs and installations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and building codes.
