Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all facilities and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks across various systems. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with other team members to maintain a safe and functional environment.

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on facilities and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct repairs on electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and circuit breakers.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Maintain and repair logic controllers and other automated systems.
• Fabricate parts as needed for repairs or upgrades.
• Execute residential painting tasks as required to maintain aesthetic standards.
• Lead small teams during maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Weld components when necessary for structural repairs or modifications.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.

Skills

• Strong background in facilities maintenance with hands-on experience in various trades.
• Proficiency in residential painting techniques and materials.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
• Experience with maintaining logic controllers and automated systems is preferred.
• Fabrication skills for creating custom parts or solutions are advantageous.
• Leadership qualities to guide team members during projects effectively.
• Welding skills for metal repairs or modifications are a plus.
• Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to solve complex problems efficiently.
