Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on hotel systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical equipment
• Conduct repairs such as welding, residential painting, and general carpentry to maintain the property’s appearance and functionality
• Troubleshoot issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and tools like ohmmeters to identify faults accurately
• Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for building automation systems when necessary
• Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards are met and work is completed efficiently
• Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to log work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future tasks
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude
• Lead or support team members in supervising maintenance tasks, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes quality workmanship

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance within hospitality or residential settings
• Proficiency in electrical work, including reading schematics and using testing tools such as ohmmeters
• Hands-on welding skills for repairs involving metal components
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and building plans effectively
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and building automation systems is highly desirable
• Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting
• Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and guests clearly
• Supervising experience in a maintenance or facilities environment is preferred
• Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial maintenance practices adds value to your application
