Duties

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a spotless environment.
• Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, and public spaces.
• Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens to meet guest needs and hotel standards.
• Handle trash removal and waste disposal efficiently across all designated areas.
• Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly.
• Follow established cleaning procedures using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with guests or team members, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within hotels or hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques for various surfaces including carpets, tiles, and hardwood floors.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies for efficient maintenance tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning under time constraints.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols diligently.
• Experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus but not required.
