Duties

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a spotless environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and organizing furniture.
• Perform detailed floor care tasks including carpet cleaning, tile scrubbing, and polishing to preserve the appearance and safety of all flooring types.
• Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, linens, and other supplies to meet guest needs efficiently.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards.
• Follow established health and safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hotels or hospitality settings is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet extraction, waxing, polishing, and tile maintenance.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy items, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond courteously to guest requests.
