Hotel Housekeeper

Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure a spotless environment.
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities such as toiletries and towels to enhance guest comfort.
• Perform floor care duties including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness of all surfaces.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage and usage of equipment.
• Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested by management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and use of cleaning equipment.
• Previous hotel experience or custodial experience that demonstrates reliability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
