Hotel Housekeeper

Duties

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and polishing surfaces to maintain a polished appearance.
• Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to meet guest needs efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of public spaces including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by sweeping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Follow established safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to promote a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards.
• Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work or hospitality housekeeping roles preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably.
• Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning chemicals; housekeeper management experience is advantageous.
