Hotel Housekeeper for Hotel near Tampa Airport (Part-Time, Weekends)

We are looking for a friendly and professional representative to work as a Hotel Housekeeper / Laundry attendant at our branded hotel near Tampa Airport. The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests. Additionally, the candidate might need to help out in the laundry room.

Responsibilities:

• Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including but not limited to, guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
• Thoroughly clean and refresh guest rooms according to hotel standards
• Report all missing items from room (i.e., irons/boards, hair dryers, etc.) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
• Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
• Report items for “Lost and Found” according to the standards
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms and hallways
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use
• Replenish cleaning supplies bottles
• Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
• Protect company assets
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

General requirements:

• Have a self-starter mentality and be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs
• Be able to work well as part of a team
• Be able to listen to, understand, and address concerns raised by employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
• Be able to communicate with Staff in English, or via Google Translator
• Be able to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
• Demonstrate high attention to detail

Additional requirements:

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required
• Medium physical work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
• Ability to stand during entire shift

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
