Tru by Hilton Traverse City is seeking associates to join our housekeeping team! A proven track record of reliability, attention to detail, and customer service are a must. Experience is not necessary, but a plus. Saturday & Sunday availability required to be considered for the position.

Major Function:

Responsible for the cleanliness, arrangement, and supply of guest rooms to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction possible

Essential Function:

• Provide the highest level of service to the guest at all times
• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing a clean, sanitary, and inviting hotel room for the guest
• Clean rooms following the company housekeeping guidelines within an eight hour day while maintaining established standards
• Inspect room for maintenance needs and report on maintenance service requests
• Empty and clean vacuums
• Keep cart stocked, neat, clean and orderly
• Report room status throughout the day; Complete assignment sheets
• Repeated bending, stooping and lifting/moving weights up to 30 lbs. as well as prolonged standing/walking
• Provide assistance to other Hotel Associates to contribute to the smooth operation of the department and hotel
• All other duties as assigned by a supervisor, of which you are capable
