Hotel Housekeeper/ Hotel Room Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Carry out floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in accordance with safety regulations.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management promptly.
• Adhere to established housekeeping protocols and standards for cleanliness and sanitation.
• Provide exceptional hospitality by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; assist in ordering as needed.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the facility.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices within hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items.
