Position Title: Hotel Intern
Department: Assigned based on availability (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B Service, Culinary, Recreation, Sales & Marketing, HR, Finance, Engineering, etc.)
Reporting To: Department Head / Training Supervisor
Program Type: Internship – Hospitality Introduction Program

Overview

The Hotel Internship Program is designed to provide students and new graduates with a comprehensive introduction to the world of hospitality. Interns will be assigned to a specific department based on operational needs and availability. Through hands‑on experience, coaching, and exposure to real hotel operations, interns will develop essential skills and gain foundational knowledge to help shape them into future hospitality professionals.

The program aims to build confidence, develop service excellence, and instill 7‑star hospitality values.

Key Responsibilities

1. Departmental Operations

  • Assist in daily tasks and operations within the assigned department.
  • Shadow senior colleagues to learn departmental standards, procedures, and workflows.
  • Support service delivery to ensure guest satisfaction.

2. Guest Service

  • Interact with guests in a polite, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Respond to guest inquiries or concerns and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain excellent grooming and professional behavior according to hotel standards.

3. Learning and Development

  • Participate in scheduled training sessions, briefings, and orientations.
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn new tasks, tools, and systems.
  • Follow instructions, guidance, and coaching from supervisors and trainers.

4. Team Collaboration

  • Work harmoniously with colleagues across departments.
  • Contribute to teamwork, positive communication, and supportive work culture.
  • Assist other departments as requested, depending on operational needs.

5. Compliance and Safety

  • Comply with hotel policies, SOPs, and service standards.
  • Follow safety, security, and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Report any hazards or incidents immediately to supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Local preferred, but willing to consider overseas candidates
  • Optional - Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a hospitality or tourism program (preferred).
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and professional presentation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours depending on schedule and assignment.
