Responsibilities

• Operate industrial laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest uniforms with precision and care.
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results.
• Perform quality checks on all laundry items to identify stains or damages and take appropriate action such as stain removal or reporting issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and safety protocols are followed.
• Assist with special cleaning requests such as dry cleaning or delicate item handling when needed.
• Restock linen closets and storage areas regularly to ensure availability of clean supplies for all hotel departments.
• Follow all safety procedures related to chemical handling, machine operation, and sanitation standards to promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal.
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy laundry loads comfortably.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
