Responsibilities

• Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning equipment with precision and care.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, and towels according to hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
• Follow proper handling procedures for stained or damaged items to ensure quality control.
• Assist with other cleaning duties around the hotel as needed to support overall housekeeping efforts.

Requirements

• Prior experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, stain removal, and dry cleaning processes.
• Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure linens are spotless and well-maintained.
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment use.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.

This can be either a full time or part time position based on availability. Most shifts will start at 10am. The end time will vary based on occupancy but will typically be around 5pm.
