Hotel Laundry Attendant

Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Laundry Attendant, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and freshness of our guests’ linens, towels, uniforms, and other hotel textiles. Responsibilities

• Operate commercial laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and pressing equipment efficiently and safely.
• Sort, load, and unload laundry items according to type, color, and cleaning requirements.
• Perform cleaning tasks including stain removal, fabric care, and dry cleaning processes when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by organizing supplies and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
• Follow safety protocols for handling chemicals and operating machinery to prevent accidents.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens for guest rooms and public areas.
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.

Skills

• Proven experience with laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, stain removal, and fabric care.
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Basic understanding of dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure all linens meet quality standards.
• Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and moving heavy loads throughout shifts.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and follow instructions precisely. Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
